Paul Kuniholm is a fourth-generation Seattle artist that creates art in three dimensions using formal training in steel sculpture and textile arts. The installation presents a series of steel sculpture, kinetic, discursive, laser and filmic artwork.
The artist is inspired by his Swedish heritage and personal events. His piece “Pyramids” was created specifically for JW Architect’s gallery space. KUPA (Kinetic Unicorn Pyramid Array) brings forward geometry and symbols previously employed in his art like the cardstock pyramids and unicorns.
